Hillsong United Live in Manila

Last November 21, I had the privilege of watching Hillsong United perform live! This isn’t just a concert but a very memorable night of worship as well! Hillsong United is a Christian band based in Australia. They have lots of songs that we sing in SFC and contributed to the vibrant evangelization of His love! It was just Ate Jeng who was with me but when we came, we saw Ice and Michelle (sisters from Karangalan chapter) and surprisingly, the 2 seats beside Ice’s were unoccupied so we were with them that night and at the General Admissions section (the section behind us as we were at the Upper Box) were Raymond and Pinky, also from Karangalan chapter. I also saw a flock of SFC’s from other sectors wearing SFC Unlimited shirts (our official shirt for this year’s MMLC). As Hillsong United is a non-Catholic band, Christians from different sects were in the event to worship Jesus together and forgot their differences. Not only that Christian music was played the whole night, but one of their youth pastors also preached for a few minutes and prayed over the crowd for personal healing and even prayed for the Philippines. It was an unforgettable night of worship and it was such a blast that Jesus is using bands like this to bring Him closer to people.
