26th Birthday Celebration!

Weird as I initially thought, this was the year when I was not so excited a week before my birthday. I knew it was just a day that will pass and then the next day will be back to normal. Besides, my birthday fell on a Monday this year and everybody knows how busy I am on Mondays. However, I never thought that I will have 3 birthday celebrations in 2 days!

The first one was with my SFC family. I was assigned to bring food for the CLP session and as it is the day before my birthday, I decided to bring pancit to have a simple celebration with my brothers and sisters. I never knew that many of us are celebrating our birthdays this November that’s why the group had a cake for all the celebrants.

At night, was the planned family dinner. This was extra special as this is the first time I celebrated my birthday with my first niece. The whole family had dinner at TGI Friday’s in Sta. Lucia. There were lots of pictures taken knowing that each movement of Mishka is being captured. The same way when Trian was still a baby, hehe.

On my actual birthday, I still did the usual routine. As Papa and I celebrate our birthdays on the 5th of November, I visited him at the cemetery after hearing mass. In the evening, I celebrated with my friends at IBM.  When I was about to grab coffee, I saw Marie, Anna, and Robbie on their way to the office as their training session just finished. Then, we went to Robbie’s condo, then they asked Ani and Jon to come over, then they treated me at Yellow Cab. They even told me that they planned for a surprise party but it was spoiled but I told them that they already did something special for me.

The Lord has blessed me with so many things and even allowed me to celebrate this special occasion with people I cherish.

  1. Hi bro, my name is Anna Tolentino, a unit head in SFC Sydney (Australia). One of our sisters will be leaving us bound for Chicago early December and was wondering if you could give me the contact details of who I can ask to take care of her for us…? Her name is Claire Fabon, 25yrs old and has been in SFC for just over a year, but has been really active in her service here. It would be great if you could refer me to someone there for her.

Hope to hear from you soon! God bless.

P.S. You cna email me on tok777@gmail.com – sorry I looked up SFC Chicago on google and your blog came up. =)
